For those who use Windows Firewall on your PC along with Remobo, here are some troubleshooting tips in case you run into connectivity issues:

The One-Click Method: Unblock during the First Run

The first time you try to run Remobo from machine A to machine B (for example, when user at machine A is trying to Remote Control machine B), machine B will pop up a Security Alert window like this:

You'll have to click "Unblock" to allow the program (in this example, "RemoboVNC Server for Win32") to run on machine B and accept incoming connection from machine A. This is the only thing you need to do for Windows Firwall to accept incoming connections.

The Details: List of Remobo built-in Applications

When you click "Unblock" in the above window, an "Exception" rule in Windows Filrewall is created to allow incoming request to pass through the firewall and connect to the specified application, for example, the RemoboVNC Server. Here's a list of all the "Exceptions" in Windows Filewall for Remobo built-in applications: (the ones with their box checked)

The Alternative: List of Remobo built-in Applications

For those who don't feel comfortable about the "Unblock" that creates those "Exception" rules like "File and Printer Sharing" or "RemoboVNC Server for Win32", here's the alternative way to keep Remobo working while disallowing the "Exception" rules in Windows Firewall:

(1) Disallow Exceptions in Windows Firewall:

This tells Windows Firewall to ignore all the Exception rules specified in the "Exceptions" tab, as we mentioned in the previous paragraph.

(2) Disable Windows Firewall for Remobo Virtual Interface

This tells Windows Firewall to skip all firewall rules for connections on the Remobo Virtual Interface, which connects to your IPN (Instant Private Network) among all your PC's and your buddies.

The advantage of this approach is that you get to keep all your existing Windows Firewall setting as is, without specifically opening up Exception rules for Remobo applications. The disadvantage is that there's no Windows Firewall protections between your PC and your buddy's, which nevertheless has to earn enough trust from you to become your buddy.

Notice that disabling Windows Firewall for Remobo Virtual Interface here won't expose your PC to the threats on the Internet, since it's connecting to your own IPN (Instant Private Network) that only you and your Remobo buddies have access to.
