Change Your Remobo Skin!
Getting Started with Skins
Step 1. What's a Skin?
Skins are just a set of image files that change the way Remobo looks and how the buttons and icons look.
Step 2. How do I Install a Skin?
Once you have downloaded a skin, simply unzip it and replace the PNG files in your "skin" folder with the ones from the skin file you downloaded and restart Remobo. Your "skin" folder can be found in the same fodler as Remobo.exe, for example (c:\Program Files\Remobo\skin)
Step 3. How do I Create a Skin?
After
installing Remobo
, you will see a folder called "skin" inside the "Remobo" folder. There are a bunch of PNG image files in there. All you have to do is edit or replace these image files with your own versions! Then, the next time you launch Remobo, it will pick up your new images to use. Easy, right?
Step 4. What Else do I Need to Know?
In general, if you replace the PNG files with images with the same dimensions, you can't go wrong. Just make sure you keep the transparent parts transparent.
However, there are some image files that can have dynamic sizes. For example, you can change the size of the border images in both the main window as well as the applications ("sub") window. In this case, Remobo will resize itself so you can have a thicker or thinner border as you prefer, based on your image size!
The button image files can also have different dimensions than the original skin, but you should keep the other icons the same size or they may not be drawn correctly.
Step 5. Where can I Download Skins?
