There’re 2 ways you can use Remobo: 1) Run your own networking application over Remobo’s IPN (Instant Private Network): Remobo connects all your computers togethers as if they were on the same LAN. For example, you can use samba, or windows file sharing, to do file sharing the same way as you do on a office LAN. You can run any networking client/server application by using the 7.×.×.x Virtual IP address assigned to the computers in your Remobo IPN. Just mouse over your buddy list and it’ll pop up message box with Virtual IP address of your buddies. Or you can do DNS query (nslookup) of “<machine-name>.<user-name>.remobo.com” to find its Virtual IP address. 2) Use the integrated applications that come with Remobo installation: When you click on buddy’s machine, a menu list will show up with all the Remobo built-in applications that you can run with the buddy. For v0.60.0, only Proxy-Browsing is listed, and we’ll add Remote-Desktop-Control back in the next release, and File-Sharing will be restored back soon. HTH |

With v0.60.4 release, the old feature of “Remote-Desktop” is added back to the built-in application list of Remobo. Please try it out and let us know your feedback. |
