For the current version of v0.13.0, I don't think it updates the existing torrent file at all.

To sync files between computers, I use the free Allway Sync (http://www.allwaysync.com). Just create network mapped drive for the computer on the LAN or Remobo network, and you can sync the files between local folder & network drive easily.

This is one of the reasons I like Remobo: all my tools that works on LAN also works seamless on Internet though Remobo.

Jeff,

I use Remobo on my home LAN, which has simliar topology as yours. I've wired computers on my home LAN, and wireless Laptops that connect to a Zyxel Access Point that in terms connect to my home LAN. The Zyxel Access Point also acts as a NAT device, so it's not easy for my wired computer to see the wireless Laptops. With Remobo, they can now be connected & share files. HTH.

Lets say I share my video folder, Remobo makes up the torrent and it's shared. But what happens when I add things or delete items from that folder? When and how does Remobo know to create or update the existing torrent file?

Hi Akatengu,

No you do not need a DDNS service... we have it built in already, and you can access a remote computer using <username>.remobo.com

Does Remobo require the use of a DDNS service in order to implement remote access to a computer lacking a fixed ip address?

Can you use Remobo on an existing LAN. The reason I would like to use Remobo is that two computers are hardwired and two are wireless and the network never works fully. All the computers never see each other and we aren't able to play games on it. If we could use Remobo to connect the computers it would be a OK simpler. Thanks.

Sorry you are experiencing issues... you can try downloading the latest version 0.12 that was released today to see if that will fix your connectivity problems.
